Are you getting power to the motor when they do not work?

I am having a couple of problems with my van. Recently we had our compressor go bad and had it replaced. Since then, we have been hearing and intermittent sound. Sometimes as soon as the car starts or when we are driving. It sounds like a motorcycle just rode off or something. Also, our windshield wipers do not work. Any help?

check fuses under hood and dash for wipers for noise. have a local professional look at it for a better opinion. we cannot hear them.

Six cylinder front wheel drive automatic 165,00 miles

Periodically, the "ABS" light has been coming on and when it does strange things happen to my car, my speedometer, fuel, rpm indicators quit working. my power windows quit working and my back windshield wiper will not work (front wipers still work). The car runs fine, brakes work fine. When the "ABS" light goes out, everything starts working again. Any suggestions? I am a single mom with no one to help me and do not trust nor can I afford to take my car in for repairs without at least knowing what might be the problem. Thank you for any assistance you can provide. Cathy
