Hi Guys,
Can you explain to me the difference and or application between the AC Delco E530C and the AC Delco D555 ignition coils.
1. They are both shown to be compatible with the 2001 s-10 model 4 cylinder 2.2 liter engine.
2. Are they interchangeable or do they each serve individual purposes?
I don't want to use one of each, I want to replace both with the correct ones. The images of each coil look identical and there is not any identification on the original coils as to which coil they are. My dilemma is which one is correct for my application?
My VIN # is 1GCCS14571K114957
Thanks for your efforts in advance!!!!

I would probably go with cheaper one. Going with the cheaper part is not always a good idea. The D555 says oem. E530c says professional quality ignition coil. E530c has what appears to be cooling fins in top of coil and brass plug towers, the D555 doesn't have that.

Either one would probably work fine, I don't have recommendation.
