I had new wipers put on my car, after that the wiper on the right side worked a couple times then it would just go up a little then down, now it doesn't move, the drivers side works fine. I have a 2001 chevrolet Impala, My question is. Does these cars have more then one wind shield wiper motor. Or could this just be a screw loose?I took it back to the store that put the wipers on, the guy said he wasn't touching it, put it was probably a screw loose.
Thank you, Nan

Remove the wiper arm and check to make sure the arm and the post are not stripped. If the splines are good, check to see if the post moves when the wipers are on. If it doesn't, you need to remove the cowl to access and check the wiper linkage. Also, there is only one wiper motor.
