Bought used and drove about 12 times. Last trip it wouldn't start. Battery charge is full, 12+V to the starter but not the relay. Jumped from battery+ to starter relay terminal and engine turns over and revs with gas pedal but stops after two seconds, very repeatable.

So it will crank but no start? Is the security light on solid or flashing with the key in the run position?

With power hot-wired to the starter relay, and the key in On (or even in Crank) the engine turns over, starts, makes power, revs-up briefly if gas pedal is pushed, then stops cold. Wait a few seconds hotwire again, same result.

Without hot-wire, turn the key to On get all the dash lights, turn key to Crank, dash goes dark, then back to On and dash lights come back.

I remember looking at each of the dash lights (appears to be lamp test mode) but don't recall seeing "security" light.
