High revs to 1100 rpms when at a stop, revs up tk approx. 1700 rpms when in park. I think its the idle air control, and the battery, would like your opinion please
thanks

Could be. Have you checked for vacuum leaks? Any codes to read? How does battery apply to the diagnosis?

The same thing started happening with my 2000 4runner and it turned out that the O2 sensor was faulty and needed to be replaced which happens to a lot of the 2000 model.
Hope it helps!

No check engine light or stored codes in history. If it was the o2 sensor I should have a check engine. I have not checked for vacum leaks but will. In other ideas would be appreciated
