I recently put a new engine in my gfs Saturn finished up started her right up no problems idle good and smooth try to put in gear and stalls out idmeditly. I tryed reving in natural and poping in gear still dies, but while testing discovered it will stall out if I rev to hard in neutral. Watching rpms it seems that when the rpms are going down they go below idle and back up unless reved hard and stalls out. The car does not jerk forward just stalla out

A bad or weak battery could be the issue lets start by correcting that also did you replace the coolant temp sensor and inspect the inside of the connector to it?

Ok will do iv seen a battery cause some outrageous problems before. I have not replaced sensor all I have done is check for vacuum leaks so far was tryn to avoid uneeded replacement parts due to strict budget.

Replaced the battery changed gas also temp sensor. Connector looked good as well codes are appearing I suppose I have to purchase a tool since local auto stores 30 miles away unless theres a trick old car could turn key on and off 3 times. If I rev and try to put in gear it will lung very slightly forward. Idles about 1100 to 1200 rpms
