Why does the serpentine belt on my 2000 Firebird come off when it gets wet?

I was told there is a problem with the idle arm pulley and the original(metal) ones are not "grooved" to hold the belt on. I can not find any other type of pulley or aftermarket that looks to fix the problem. This is reacquiring and dangerous.
Please a part number would be very helpful!
Thank You,
Carri

Check the alignment of the pulleys. They need to be perfectly aligned. You may need to shim something to get them to line up.

Are all plastic guards in place under car? The belt should NOT be getting wet.
