Hello, I have a 2000 Olds Alero 3.4L 6 Cyl with about 98,000 miles on it. It's showing two codes, P0341 & P0410. My regular repair guys said I had to take it to a dealer. Can you give me any insight as to what I might expect? I'm hoping that this is not a going to be a major repair or expense for me. Thank you in advance for your help.

For the p0410 try cleaning the throttle body and IAC. The other is a cam sensor code.

Is the cam sensor problem a major or minor repair?

It's a fairly straightforward and simple remove and replace.

Disconnect battery negative. Remove power steering pump assembly. Remove wiring connector from sensor. Remove the bolt on the sensor and remove the sensor. Replacement is the exact reverse. Torque the bolt to 18 ft-lbs.
