I'm trying to remove the serpentine belt tensioner on my sister 2000 Mercury Cougar V6, and I'm trying to figure out what tool to use in order to do the job. It looks like you unsrcew it with a torx head drive but there isn't enough clearance to use one. I tried using an extension and a 3/16 hex key, but that didn't work and I don't want to risk rounding off the edges. Any advice?

dont remember exactly, but i recall unbolting the motor mount and lifting the motor to gain acess to the tensioner. i believe it was a 45 torx socket.
