oil in transmission

I put oil in the transmission by accident. The care has not been started, but it has been sitting in the yard for a while. Will a transmission flush solve the problem?

It would be easier to just drop the pan. If the engine hasn't been started since this goof, the oil will not have been pumped around through the transmission.

Do you have an automatic or manual? How much oil did you put in?
