REMOVE AND REPLACE THE HEADLINER-- REPAIR MOON ROOF
MOON ROOD DOES NOT FUNCTION-- WHEN ACTUATOR BUTTON IS PRESSED BACK OF MOON ROOF RAISES 1 INCH---AND WILL NOT OPEN FURTHER OR RETURN TO SEAL---INTERIOR SLIDE PANEL DOES NOT SLIDE AT ALL.
HOW DIFFICULT IS IT TO REMOVE THE HEADLINER AND TROUBLE SHOOT THE MOON ROOF MECHANISM.PROCEDURE TO REMOVE THE HEADLINER WOULD BE HELPFUL. ANY COMMENTS ON WHAT MAY BE THE MOON ROOF MECHANISM PROBLEM?

here are the instructiions. tis is for testing power. you may have a bad switch or motor. I'm not sure how parts are sold for this, it may be a whole unit. you should n't need to drop the headliner to test it.
