I have a 2000 ford excursion 7.3l we replaced the batteries 7 weeks ago. It was working fine. One morning I left the lights on for about 1 hour it did not start. I got someone to give me a jump. It didn't seem that the primary battery was taking a charge. We switched to secondary and it ran in 1 attempt. It was fine the rest of that day and wednesday. Then it was pretty cold that night and following morning. It did not start initially then we jumped it left it running for a while and then it sat for about 2:15 minutes off. Went to start it again. Then it didn't start jumped it again on secondary battery seemed to work well. Drove it about for a while. Then it sat for another hour and a half. Had to be jumped again then got it home and did not try again until saturday afternoon. It did not even come close to turning over. We charged it for 2 hours to no resolve. Got another battery today for the primary. At the very beginning it very little started to turn over on a completely new battery then continued to just click the rest of the times. We checked fuses 6 and 29. Glow plugs were recently replaced. 190,000 miles.
