Truck wont go into gear

2000 dodge ram 1500 2wd 5.2 liter 5 speed wont go in gear while sittin if I slam it in gear I can drive. Drives fine once I get going

Your probably having a problem with the hydraulic clutch system. When they have a slow leak in either the clutch master or the slave cylinder, they suck air into the system when they get low. Check the fluid level and if it's low, find the leak.
