I have a 2000 chevy cavalier with a 2.2 liter automatic, with 282,000km's. When it first starts (cold) it runs great, but after about 10 minutes of running, when it gets up to temp, it almost feels like someone pulled off a plug wire. There is no power, it will stay running but runs very rough. I tried pulling each plug wire off idividually but it doesn't seem to make much of a difference. It has the original spark plugs but new wires. Could a faulty plug do this or a bad coil pack?

Engine running rough or misfiring can be cause by the following:

1. Defective spark plug.
2. Inadequate spark/coil, defective spark plug wire.
3. Lack of compression
4. Vacuum leak
5. Fautly fuel injectors.
6. Insufficient fuel pressure.
7. Contaminated fuel.
8. EGR valve that is leaking.
9. Oxygen sensors.
