Hi
plz I need help about my e46 mod.2000 323ci convertible U.S
my mechanic told me that he will flash my dme with europe version to clear off the secondary air system causing check engine light. Since he done that, i've found that he disconnected the oxygen sensors. Also, when my key is at position 2, no more check engine light.
can you help me about this issue,
and what gains are made when moving to european dme software

thank you in advance

Without more information on what was done in this reflash, there is little to suggest except return to the US spec programming and correct the secondary air fault, or just drive it.
As to the gains, there aren't any, really. A couple of lousy HP on top.

Dear Sir
THank you for your prompt reply
I would like to ask you about my case
The reflash stops the oxygen sensors and the secondary air pump as europe dme cars system
So, if I left my car on this reflash, is there any problem that I would face later on? Because after the reflashing my car idle is smoother, fuel consumption is much better than before and seems that vanus efficiancy much better on lower rpm.
Thanks again for your help

I would drive it, as is. Just beware of what the code requirements might demand, where ever you go.
