Car will turn over but not start. Is there a diagnostic instrument too give troouble code?

Get some starting fluid and spray it in the intake. Does it try and start? Then youll need to rent a fuel pressure gauge from the parts store. Test it and come back.

It made a difference. The car now fires off, but runs 2 seconds, then quits.

U will need to replace the fuel pump.
