Diesel engine flooded with water, is there any hope in saving it?
I have left it for a day, dryed the air intake filter as much as possible and emptied the fuel filter of water. Glow plugs seem fine, it turns over (just!) But won't kick in. Any ideas?

What do you mean by just turning over? Battery ok? Is the air filter water affected? How deep was the water?

Drain the oil and change filter. Take the hose off the intercooler and let it drain. If it hydrolocked you might need the valves replaced. I had a tdi with a bent valve, 1 valve barely bent and it hardly started. Try a compression gauge, that'll tell a lot.
