I have a 1999 Saturn SL1. When I try to accelerate, it sputters and almost seems like it will stall. It's an automatic, so I know it shouldn't. It happens after I have stopped (say for a light) and when it changes gears. What could be wrong?

Do you have a check engine light? When was the last tune-up don't recall give it a tune-badly needed one will affect the operation of the transmission.
