99 alero brake issues in the front. Have had to replace brakes a few times and now less than 6 months they have to be done again. Is there some hidden issue on this models and make regarding the brakes

What has been wrong with the brakes? Were the pads worn out on just one front brake and the other side looks like new?

Check if one side is wearing faster than the other, if so go for a drive and get the brakes hot, check if one brake is dragging, if so crack the bleeder and see if it frees up, if so, it will be a hydraulic pressure retention problem, check this and report back.
