1999 Mercury Sable electrical or short problem

i've fixed a short it has somewhere in the radio area they fixed bcuz i noticed that the front cover of the radio would always get hot so they fixed but now when i take the key out of the ignition the key feels hot also near where u turn the light switch on. like right it turned on but because i put in reserve pushed it back a little then put it in park and it turn on. i you try to jump start it it wont do.
