Having problem with the ford windstar it is misfiring on cyclinder number 2, I have change out the plugs and wires and still is doing it. I have notice that the car rpm is moving up and down at idle and still don't know what to do I am getting a spark between the wire and the coil pack but only check by taking the wire off and seeing the spark

If you have good blue spark at plug, check compression on suspect cylinder, check for injector pulse at injector, try swapping injector with another cylinder, see if misfire follows suspect injector. If you are having idling issues, may have vacuum leak at intake, if leaking vacuum near #2 intake runner, that could be the cause of misfire

No I have not check the compression and injector pluse, I had to change out a coolant hose that was leaking but I am going to check that today. I don't see how the car wouldn't smoke if the injector was leaking causing it to fire before the piston reach top dead center but I will check.
