Side question - Is there a gasket/seal that goes on the shaft of the balancer prior to installation? I have not pulled the old one off yet, but there is not one on the new part.

The rubber between the inner & outer rings for the Harmonic Balancer went bad on my 1999 Dodge Ram 1500 5.9L. Is there a certain position the new balancer needs to be at while installing, as the weight is obviously not even all the way around the ring?
