Hi my name is Thomas and I have a problem with my car. Everytime I turn something that has to do with electricity on (the engine is running idle), it rises its RPM to 2000 and returns again at 1000 which affects the driving behavior. What can I do?

Check for any vacuum leaks. Other than that, it may be a dirty throttle body or a failing idle air control motor
