Hood release cable

I have a 98 Saturn sl2 the hood cable to release it isn't working how do I get the hood up?

Is there any inner cable left to grab on the inside of the car by the release handle?

That's how I was opening it before it came off the handle. It was poppingfine just pulling the cable but now nothing happens.

So there is cable to pull?If so get a pair of vise grip pliers and lock them on the cable and give it a pull. If the hood open's then you need to get a new cable.
