My car would not crank over but the radio is working

Hi I have an 1998 saturn sl2 and today at lunch I drove it and it did fine when going to leave it would not crink up but the radio came on and so did all the lights, the motor is brand new and so is the clutch my dad replaced it like 2 months ago. What could be wrong

Have you had the battery tested yet?Also made sure the battery cables are clean and tight?Also do you have a multimeter?Sounds like a bad starter or battery.

The battery is like brand new got it like 6 months ago from love chevrolet

I have seen bad batteries in brand new cars I have had bad brand new batteries so just because your battery is only 6 months old doesnt mean its bad. Do you have a multimeter to do some testing?Also lets make sure the battery cables are clean and tight.
