I have a 98 Saturn SC2 16V DOHC. The car has started to rough idle at stop lights and now is dying at some longer lights. I have replaced the plugs (this stops the problem for a short while) the valve cover seal (stopped oil leak into plug housing), Engine coolant temp sensor, Idle Air Motor, Cleaned throttle body, cleaned the fuel filter, and run seafoam. This problem has me on the ropes. I'm thinking vacuum leak possibly. However the car runs beautiful with the AC Unit off but runs hot due to the fan not running. If you turn the air on at all it starts to run terrible. No acceleration, stalls, shakes while driving. Any ideas would be helpful. Feels like the engine misses when the AC is engaged.

So what kind of spark plugs are you putting in?Also does the fan come on with the temp gauge just past half way on the temp gauge? You new to fix the radiator fan first. With the ac on see if you have power an ground to the radiator fan?You most likely have a bad radiator fan motor.
