Located on the transmission housing, sensor faces the gear-teeth on the flywheel/flexplate.

It is located on transmission housing, facing flywheel gear teeth. You must change it from under the car.

Here is a guide that will show you what you are in for when changing it

my pathfinder will turn over but will not run. Had a guy do a diagnostic cheeks and came up with ignition sensor. Looking online and talking with autoparts store we came up with the crank position sensor. Could you tell me where to locate it? I am at a friends house and have to plastic to donate. This is a project car. So will be often if you can help and will donate from here on out.
