I was driving on the expressway and my oil light came on. I was gonna get off at the next exit and check it but then my car started slowing down and was hard for it to speed back up to 65 mph. The temp gauge went all the way up to hot. Im not sure what happened or why it happened. Now the car wont start. We changed the starter to a brand new one from autozone and its engaging but only clicking once but not starting. I think my engine locked up. Any tips on what to do?

Try to manually turn engine over by using a rachet and socket on the crankshaft, if it doesnt turn either way, the engine is set up.

Our daughters car did the same thing, oil pump went out and lock the engine up. Had to replace the engine and oil pump.
