The fuse that controls by tail lights and dash lights keeps blowing. They go out, my husband replaces the fuse, they work fine for a day or two and then it blows again. Why might this be happening and how do I fix it?

Fuses blow due to shorts or faults in their given system. A bad (loose) or corroded connection (including ground wires), a pinched or chaffed wire grounding out, excessive ohms draw, or a wrong bulb (part number) in light sockets to mention a few. Have him check for corrosion in the tail/brake light socket holders (green goo), proper bulb, tight socket to bulb fit. Clean or replace as necessary. There is a great troubloshooting article on this websight just type in no tail lights in the question box next to maintenance ( r/h upper toolbar ) and that should take you to it !
