This 1998 ford f800 has its brakes jammed up and its "brake motor" light went on and im wondering if the relay is bad or the master cylinder is bad or other. The truck wont move, because the brakes are pushing without letting up.

Is it an air brake system or hydraulic or hydraulic over air? Need to know what system first. If air it may be bad air chambers not releasing or parking brake not releasing. Shold be scanned for codes as well if light on.

Well the brakes started jamming up when the truck was in motion; it needed to be towed and the buzzer was coming on intermittently. I believe it is a hydraulic over air.

Due to different systems you need to know what is on it not on what you believe. Like I said in first reply it will have to bescanned however first to see if anything is picked up. A pro will have to do it wherever you get your trucks repaired.

Well I dont exactly have the money to call a pro which makes my situation difficult, because the truck is needed would a picture help you to identify if its hydraulic over air? I know maybe you cant pin point the problem but ideas are good so I know what to look for. Im planning on doing the repair myself and need to know what parts could be likely to replace. If you could list the likely problems that would help

If your brake light is on it h as to be scanned to see what is causing the problem. All that shows me is a master cylinder but I am going to assume it's hydraulic air assisted. But without scanning it yoy have no idea what is wrong
