1998 Ford Expedition code P1409 what does it mean and how do I fix it

Had egr failure pulled and cleaned egr now I have p1409 manufacture control auxiliary emission control failure what can I do now to fix this problem

It is an egr fault code. The egr in most cases cannot be cleaned as the part that is bad you cannot acess. It most likely has to be replaced.
All the controls have to be checked as well. That is done with a scan tool by a shop.
