My dad has a 1998 Dodge Dakota and we can't find where to check the oil in the manual transmission. Where is it?

DRAINING & FILLING
Transmission (Dakota)
Park vehicle on level surface. Remove transmission drain plug and allow fluid to drain from transmission. On AX-15 transmission, drain plug is located on passenger's side of transmission. On NV3500 transmission, drain plug is located on bottom center of transmission housing.
On all transmissions, install and tighten transmission drain plug to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS.
Remove transmission fill plug from side of transmission. On AX-15 transmission, fill plug is located on driver's side of transmission. On NV3500 transmission, fill plug is located near front of transmission on passenger's side.
On all transmissions, fill transmission with appropriate fluid until fluid level is even with bottom of fill plug hole. See RECOMMENDED FLUID. Install and tighten transmission fill plug to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS.
