1995 Chevrolet Tahoe belt tensioner bolt that mount in to block wont secure the threads in mout are strip how can I repair this problem in order to secure tensioner bolt to mount

See if hole is deeper than bolt is long, if so use longer bolt to reach good threads? And usually the treads on bolt are bad too adding to stripped effect. New deeper bolt may solve issue. If it's a standard bolt design and not special.
