Thanks, how hard of a fix is this, is this something I can do myself?

It is a sensor. It's job is to heat "cold" fuel on start up so the car runs better and doesn't run in a closed loop longer than it has to. As far as replacement, it is mounted on the relay box under the hood. You should be able to replace it.
