my heater core has a leak

I have a 98 skylark with the 3.1 v6 the hard line going to my heater core has a leak but it seems to be buried in the motor and tips? I have looked from underneath but its so tight in there i cant get my hands in there not sure where to start.

What kind of leak is it -coolant or freon?

Its coolant there is a hard line that meets up with a short peice of rubber line there seems to be a leak in the metal line it sprays out pretty good.

Cut it off and use a longer rubber hose/worm clamp on it
