Hi there! This morning on my way to work I went to pull out of my driveway on a very busy road in my 98 Buick Park Avenue and for some reason the wheels kinda locked up so in order for me to turn it I had to use all my strength. My boyfriend and I have a trip coming up next Thursday to drive down to Austin, Texas in it and now because of that we are anxious to see if we can even take it down there. Please help!

Make sure there are no leaks to steering box, p/s reservoir is full and belt is tight. Recommended belt and tensioner replacement is 60k. Have apro pressure check pump it may be worn out

Thank you! I will defiantly take a look at it tonight, it's got over 200,000 miiles on it, what kind of expense do you think it's actually worth to put into it? We got it last year from a junk yard I mean it's done is pretty well but we've also put quite a lot of money into it. My concern is that we fix the current problem but then another one occurs, I do love the car but I'm worried after all of this it isn't going to be worth it.

I really don't know your situation but a car that old with that many miles something is going to come up as well. If you got it out of a junkyard then it's life was pretty well shot so I'd keep costs to a minimum. It turns into a money pit.
