I need to replace my alt. My problem starts with the tensioner, how do I loosen it? I can take the small belt off with no problem. But the belt that the alt is on, on the front of the tensioner it dont have a hex thing for the tool to go in. Is there a cap on the front that I have to take off or is there a special tool that I need. Thanks

If you don't have the hex tool you can buy a metric allen wrench to fit then ucut it anduse a socket, or if you can fit a large bar or screwdriver on it to move it down shold work. Also if you have some large torx bits they will work in lew of an allen wrench.
