How do u take the piston rod out

Are you refering to a connecting rod from the piston to the crankshaft?

To remove it you need to remove the cylinder head then have it pressed out-

If your taking the connecting rod out you will have to remove the head then remove the oil pan and unbolt the connecting rod then push piston and rod out of the top of the cylinder.

They are correct. I just wanted to make sure that was what you were refering to before I started explaining everthing that needs done. It is a major job. Before starting, let me know why you think it needs removed. Is there a knocking, did coolant get into the cylender that may have bent it. I may be able to save you a lot of work.
