The light will flash for a missfire but not rapidly. If it is flashing like that, it sounds like a problem with a power or ground to the pcm. I would look first at the battery cables. Clean them completely. Otherwise, you may be looking at a failing pcm.

One of the codes on my 97 pontiac bonneville is multipal cylinder misfire I changed the coil packs plugs and wires what else could be the problem if it keeps dyin and not starting for over 30 mins

It could be a fuel pump seizing up when hot.
I was more concerned on how your check engine light was acting. That does not sound normal at all.
The crank sensor will cause a 300 code as well.

Well it did come up with a 307 or 301 code the last time I checked it how hard would it be to change the crank sensor

There is no 307. 301 is amissfire in number 1 cylinder. It could be a bad plug, wire, coil, a bad injector, low compression or a vacuum leak. A crank sensor will not repair this code.
You need all these items checked.

Ok it was a 301 cuz it said multiple misfire in cylinder 1 I will check theses other things and let you know how it turns out thank you very much for your expert advice. Cuz I was goin nuts tryin to figure this out

Just to let you know, 300 is multiple missfires, 301 is specific to number 1 cylinder

And not to mention there was a duplicate 300 code ill have it testes again and give you the specific codes.I already know about the code for bank 1 o2 sensor

That code will go away when you repair the miss. The sensor is unable to adjust fuel due to the miss fire.
