Isuzu Rodeo Problem

1997 isuzu rodeo: The gear is on drive(D), it will not respond quickly until I press the accelerator very well. Again, when in holdup with the vehicle stopped, the gear will be chnaging by itself.

How can you help out. Thanks.

Check trans fluid level and check cable to trans.

Check trans fluid level by pulling trans dipstick (engine running).

Raise car to inspect cable.
