OK my starter bolts broke in block. I paid a guy to drill the bolts out and tap the holes. He drilled them and got them really big and sloppy. The jb weld the bolts in to hold. They fell out after a month. Thats when seen how he did me. So a friend tried to drill the outside one all way threw and part of the ear broke off. Now the starter is up there but grinds and won't crank. I've got a starter off a 2002 Tahoe it looks same but the bolt pattern for the bolt that's closest to blocks in a different spot. I can drill that hole myself and tap if it will work. Or is there a bracket help me plz this is a great truck I hate to scrap

starters come either way just be careful drilling and put a heli coil in other hole instead of jb weld. otherwise you'll keep breaking the nose from the starter. also once it's installed you may need to shim it to stop making noise.
