Have a 97 f150 4.6 that I have changed the fuel pump and filter plugs and wires, coil packs, and cleaned the throttle body after driving it for about 40 miles it began to act like it was begging for fuel.

If the check engine light is on, have the computer scanned for codes. Most parts stores will do it for free. Also, check the EEC relay under the hood in the relay block. Try switching it with another one one that has the same part number to see if that helps. That relay can shut the fuel pump down and the ignition.
