How do you repair codes po300 and po440

The PO300 is a multi-cylinder misfire. That can be the result of many things. When was the last tune up? Have you checked fuel pump pressure? As far as the PO440, Evap Emission Ctrl Sys Error, that too is a very vague code. Anything I would say would be a guess.
