I have been trying to get the ignition lock.

I have been trying to get the ignition lock housing off, but it will not budge. Everything is unhooked, is there a lock pin I'm missing because the housing has a spring holding it in place. It should slide off the drive shaft, but no luck. Any advice?

If you are wanting to leave the shaft in place, you need to press the collar off of the shaft first, then the spring comes off.

You need to unlock the steering lock with the key and then remove the housing bolt (rounded head). Once off, the housing slides off.
