96 saturn sl2 - I start car. Acts like its starving for fuel. Stalls. Put pedal to the metal turn key. Starts up. And idles high. Any ideas? Already changed fuel type. Dry gas. Fuel injector cleaner. Put it on a "idiot box" on it and shows no problems. So Im confused. Thanks for your help

If there is no check engine light on, then I would clean the throttle body and check the idle air control valve

If you have to put the gas pedal all the way to the floor to get it to start sound's like you most likely have a bad coolant temp sensor. It usually doesn't set a code for that you cam try to see if it has one though. When you put your gas pedal all the way to the floor it goes into clear flood mode and turn's the fuel off. So if you have to do that then your probably getting too much fuel when trying to start it. It's really common for the coolant temp sensor's to go bad and cause all kind's of issue's stalling surging overheating etc. The sensor is only 10 I would also inspect the connector going too it they get corroded as well with the sensor leaking into them.
