found a metal pin .after I had change the motor oil on the drain plug it look like a watch size pin of the band or strap

Have any pictures? Make sure the engine is still getting oil pressure. That is kind of scary. If the car still runs and drives, if it were me Id either find out what it was or just keep driving it....
