I have a 1996 Olds Cutless 3.1 engine with a faultyPCM module . The problems started with a random misfireing . When the mechnic started trouble shooting the problem he came up with the EGR not operating correctly in its reading with the PCM . It was reading at 0 percent . When he open up the module with me there it look brand new . There was it any signs of corrosion burnt wires are any outside indication of damage . Is it still possible that the PCM is internally damage . He was saying that the repair would be costly in the price of $500 or more . Is the price to repair a 17 year old car worth it . Thanks Victor Marshall
