1996 Ford Ranger interior light

My nterior light stays on sometimes after I close my door but I don't know how/where the actuator is or how it's supposed to work. I have removed the bulbs for now!

Have it scanned it can be the battery saver relay or the GEM module.

Most likely it is a sensor in the door latch what has worked for me is to spray WD-40 into the interior of the latch.
