Input shaft slide out of tranny slightly and it wont seat completely back into tranny for torque converter to seat completely. I tried getting it to seat deeper and it will not. Now I cant remove it. Does the input shaft have clips or locks holding in tranny body? How do I remove and reinstall input shaft. Thank you

No clips or snap rings. Just sit in the drum.

The shaft goes in first then the torque converter.

The torque converter seats 3 times, the stator, input shaft and the front pump. The pump is the hardest to set as you have to rotate the converter till it seats.
