Why does my van have a P0300 code in my van? What would I check for this problem. I have replaced the distributor.

P0300 : Random Multiple Mis-Fire

Usually caused by plugs, wires and a possibly bad coil pack. On these vans the spark plug wires are prone to heat failure ( melting in some cases) start there and work your way up. The back ones if its a minivan are pretty tough to get at ( which usually they get neglected ).

96 dodge what also? Its a little vague. Motor and van type would be greatly apprecieated
